At Laboratorio SYNLAB, a leader in diagnostic and clinical analysis services, we are looking for a Clinical Bioinformatics Specialist to strengthen our diagnostic team. We are looking for a professional in biological sciences with specialization in molecular biology, genetics and/or bioinformatics, who has experience in the analysis of genomic data obtained through next generation sequencing (NGS), especially in clinical exomes and genetic panels.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge in the use of specialized software in clinical bioinformatics and in the interpretation of data for clinical diagnosis. Additionally, we value the ability to work as a team, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence in genomic analysis.
REMOTE WORK

Requirements:
Professional in Biological Sciences (Bacteriology, Medicine, Bioengineering, Biology or related areas) with experience in genetics and molecular biology.
Minimum 2 years of experience in NGS data analysis (panels and exome), variant classification according to ACMG guidelines and writing genetic diagnosis reports.
Knowledge in interpretation and categorization of point, structural variants and CNVs.
Intermediate level of English for understanding scientific bibliography.
It will be positively valued:
Postgraduate degree in bioinformatics, molecular biology, human genetics or related areas.
Management of bioinformatics tools and databases such as IGV, ClinGen, OMIM, ClinVar and data analysis software.
