At FactorIT, we lead cybersecurity projects for large clients within the region. The incumbent will work in a challenging environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information. You will participate in risk assessment initiatives, penetration testing, attack simulations and incident responses, with direct impact on the security of systems and data of clients in the financial sector and other verticals. The project involves the implementation of controls, security audit and reporting of findings to technical and management teams, promoting world-class security practices and continuous improvements.

Main responsibilities
Protect information systems against cyber threats through technical testing and security controls.
Implement and maintain advanced security measures, including incident detection, mitigation and response environments.
Perform risk analysis, penetration testing, red teaming, phishing testing, physical intrusion and social engineering.
Audit and advise on cybersecurity to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
Validate the correction of security breaches and confirm the closure of findings.
Prepare technical reports, reports and presentations of results for internal stakeholders and clients.
Participate in meetings with internal teams and clients to align requirements and results.

Requirements and skills
Proven experience in pentesting/ethical hacking and offensive security.
Solid knowledge of security tools and methodologies (OWASP, penetration testing, vulnerability analysis, incident management).
Ability to work in a team, good communication and analytical approach to solving problems.
Knowledge of programming (at least one language) and experience in Linux system administration is desirable.

Desirable
Knowledge of programming in one of the common languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.).
Additional experience in cloud, cryptography, or network security environments.
