Job Description
The role requires acting as an AI and digitalization adoption expert for VS, contributing to the planning and execution of AI and digitalization initiatives. The aim is to combine knowledge of the automotive and mobility sectors with technological exploration to identify, evaluate and apply AI and digitalization tools.
Responsibilities:
Participate in client meetings to directly understand business needs, processes and challenges in the automotive and mobility industries, translating them into effective AI and digitalization solutions.
Conduct feasibility studies and proofs of concept, translating AI and digitalization concepts into actionable business cases.
Drive project implementations focused on automation and AI-enabled solutions in operational workflows, collaborating with VS business, IT and delivery teams.
Ensure robust, scalable, interpretable and responsible AI and digitalization development, following best practices and industry standards.
Monitor adoption results, propose improvements and identify new use cases for improvement.
Support global Lean leaders, VS Lean experts and core Lean team experts during Kaizen events, identifying opportunities to introduce improvements and efficiencies through AI and digitalisation.
Requirements:
Degree in AI, Data Science, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
Experience applying AI, ML and digitalization solutions to business problems, ideally in operational, automotive or mobility industry contexts.
Understanding of business processes in the automotive and mobility sectors, with the ability to translate customer and OEM needs into technical solutions.
Experience interacting directly with customers and business stakeholders, with the ability to capture requirements and communicate complex technical concepts in business terms.
Communication, problem solving and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to deliver projects and translate technical knowledge into business value.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic, cross-functional team.
Proficiency in Python and AI and ML frameworks is a plus.
English proficiency.
