A professional is sought to review constitutional documents of corporate clients and their related parties, ensuring compliance with know-your-client procedures and applicable regulations. The position involves direct interaction with clients and collaboration with different departments to guarantee efficient processes that comply with current regulations.
Responsibilities:
Review constitutional documents of corporate clients and their related parties.
Manage personal workload and timely escalate key risks or issues to management.
Maintain good relationships and work with relationship partner teams and directly with clients as necessary to obtain all supporting evidence required to comply with due diligence.
Participate in internal and external training programs related to AML/CFT and other topics relevant to daily work.
Serve as a point of contact for inquiries related to periodic reviews.
Coordinate with other departments, such as Compliance and internal teams, to ensure review processes.
Communicate with Key Account Managers (KAMs) of VIP accounts and brokers to resolve issues during reviews.
Participate in process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Manage administrative tasks and auxiliary activities related to the previous functions according to business requirements.
Conduct open source searches on regulation, public listing and licensing status.
Prepare escalation forms to senior management and MLRO with detailed description of client risks.
Provide feedback on system failures, procedural gaps and necessary updates.
Requirements:
University degree or higher.
Minimum 2 years of experience in corporate onboarding with knowledge of relevant rules and regulations and daily compliance issues.
Experience in risk assessments, periodic or triggered reviews and due diligence.
Fluent in English to coordinate effectively with international partners and stakeholders.
Experience in reviewing complex and high-risk KYB cases, as well as profiles of Financial Institutions and broker clients.
Certifications such as ACAMS, CAMS, CCAS, ICA or others are valued.
Time management, organization and relationship building skills.
Ability to adapt to a dynamic and constantly evolving environment.
Knowledge of local laws, directives, regulations and standards applicable to persons subject to supervision.
Knowledge of multiple client types (e.g. holding companies, funds, partnerships, segregated holding companies, trusts) and EEA jurisdictions will be a plus.
