At Solvo Global we are looking for a Mainframe Operations Specialist to work 100% remotely from Mexico, Peru, Argentina, Guatemala or Honduras.\nYour mission will be to guarantee the operation, supervision and correct functioning of the processes and tools of the Mainframe environment, managing incidents, ensuring operational continuity and compliance with service levels in critical environments.\nResponsibilities\nOperation and administration of Mainframe environment tools.\nMonitoring and control of Batch processes through Control-M.\nManagement and analysis of incidents in Mainframe environments.\nOperation of CICS, COBOL, DB2, Micro Focus and associated platforms.\nOperational support in Linux/Unix environments.\nPreparation of operational reports and SLA monitoring.\nCoordination with systems, applications, communications and support teams.\nParticipation in operational procedures and critical services.\nRequirements\n3 to 5 years of experience in operation, administration or support of Mainframe environments.\nDemonstrable experience in at least 80% of: Control-M, CICS, Batch, Micro Focus, COBOL and DB2.\nKnowledge of Linux/Unix for operation and resolution of incidents.\nExperience in incident management and production support.\nBasic knowledge of scripting (Shell, PowerShell or Python).\nKnowledge of ITIL good practices.\nKnowledge essential\nControl-M · CICS · Batch Processing · Micro Focus Enterprise Server · COBOL · DB2 · Mainframe environments · Linux/Unix environments\nInterpretation and analysis of JCL is valued.\nMicro Focus Enterprise Server / Rocket Software.\nActive Directory and LDAP.\nMiddleware and integration between distributed platforms and Mainframe.\nHybrid Mainframe and Linux/Unix environments.\nITIL certifications and Mainframe.\nCompetences\nAnalytical ability and problem solving.\nAttention to detail and priority management.\nTeamwork and effective communication.\nService orientation and continuous improvement.\nWork in critical environments and under pressure.\nTraining\nHigher Degree FP, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications or similar (not exclusive, experience is prioritized).\nAre you interested?\nApply here or send your resume to the email *******.*****@solvoglobal.com",
