About the Position \nWe are seeking a meticulous and highly organized Mortgage Payment Specialist to join the Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the warehouse funding process for residential mortgage loans, from transfer request to completion of funds. You will work collaboratively with closing officers, lenders and title companies. \nPosition Details \nMode: 100% Remote \nSchedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (Central Time) \nLanguage Requirement: Advanced English (C1) \nMain Responsibilities \nFinancing Operations: Process applications for funds for approved loans, review supporting documentation, verify compliance with lender requirements, and maintain clean audit records. \nQueue and Workflow Management: Monitor the daily transfer processing queue, prioritize requests based on closing schedules, and update status in Encompass and related systems. \nControl and Exceptions: Manage cancellations, refunds, additional transfer requests, per diem adjustments, and verify cable instructions before shipping. \nOperational Support: Support process improvement initiatives, workflow reports and serve as backup for other closing department functions as necessary. \nWhat Do You Need to Succeed? \nExperience: 1 to 3 years of experience in banking operations, mortgage loans, closing or financing processes. \nTechnical Skills: Previous experience working with mortgage documentation and the Encompass platform is preferred. \nCompetencies: Working knowledge of residential lending processes, strict attention to detail, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. \nLanguages: Advanced command of English C1",
