We are looking to hire a copywriting specialist with experience in conversion video scripts for ads on platforms such as Meta and TikTok. The position requires working with video and development teams to optimize messaging and maximize results from advertising campaigns.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the CEO and video team to ideate, write and produce video ad scripts. Create multiple hooks and angles for each offer.
Analyze creative performance to rewrite and improve existing advertising copy, testing sales messages and emotional triggers that extend the duration of campaigns.
Collaborate with the CEO and media buyers to continually improve results through A/B and multivariate testing of text variables and headlines.
Monitor messaging trends and competitive hooks in target industries to maintain competitive advantage.
Audit the performance of scripts on each account twice a week to identify rewrite opportunities.
Ensure that ads created by the video editing team follow scripts and that the sales message is clear in the final video.
Work with the CEO and development team to improve sales copy on landing pages and ads, increasing revenue per visitor.
Requirements:
2-4 years of experience in direct response copywriting with an emphasis on conversion scripts for video ads (Meta and TikTok).
Ability to improve ad performance through copy iterations, more effective hooks, and data-driven message adjustments.
Ability to work and meet KPIs.
Mastery of Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
Proactive mentality.
Ability to write with style and within compliance guidelines.
Growth mindset and willingness to learn.
Fluency in English.
Portfolio of scripts or ads that show a focus on conversion.
Experience writing for financial services.
Other applicable creative skill (Photoshop, video editing, basic web development).
Experience writing and producing TikTok ads.
Salary to receive
$36,000 - $60,000 / year
