We are looking for a social media strategist who is passionate about classic video games and committed to the mission of preserving gaming history. You will be responsible for designing and executing social media content strategies that highlight the vision, while directly engaging with communities and encouraging their participation.
Responsibilities:
Lead the creation of a content strategy on social networks that positions GOG as a reference in the conservation of video games.
Identify the right channels, innovative formats and opportunities to amplify GOG's mission and stories.
Develop a detailed editorial calendar with key campaigns, thematic pillars and publication schedules.
Incorporate nostalgia-inspired content and community-focused proposals to achieve a significant impact.
Design publications and other materials that reinforce the preservation narrative.
Organize events and generate collaborative content that motivates the community to join this cause.
Work closely with marketing and public relations teams to support launches, campaigns and events.
Be the voice of GOG on platforms such as X (Twitter), Reddit, Facebook and forums.
Maintain an authentic, engaging and consistent tone with our brand when interacting with the community.
Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPI) to evaluate the impact on the brand and adjust strategies based on the results obtained.
Requirements:
More than 5 years designing innovative content strategies on social networks, aligned with brand objectives and with demonstrable results.
Mastery of tools for analysis and measurement of impact, and ability to adapt according to the data.
Ability to create unique content that combines the trends of each platform with the voice of our brand.
Ability to manage the entire process, from planning to publication.
Passion for classic video games and a deep understanding of their cultural relevance.
Previous experience in the world of PC gaming and ability to convey the mission authentically.
Excellent written and verbal skills in English, able to convey clear, impactful and persuasive messages.
