The Role
As a Full-stack Software Developer at Amplify Software, you’ll play an active role in every phase of our product lifecycle. Beyond coding, you’ll refine tasks, propose technical solutions, implement them, and measure their impact alongside the Product & Tech team. We embrace agile methodologies that focus on rapid iteration, clear communication, and delivering real value—rather than getting bogged down by overly rigid processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product and technical teams to design, implement, and iterate on software solutions.
- Refine & Plan tasks, suggesting and discussing optimal implementation strategies.
- Develop modern JavaScript/TypeScript applications using React (functional hooks) and Next.js.
- Build responsive, visually appealing UIs using CSS and Tailwind.
- Create RESTful APIs using Node.js with Express, ensuring reliable integration with frontend components.
- Adopt trunk-based development for frequent, safe releases, leveraging GitHub Actions to power CI/CD.
- Utilize clean architecture and DDD-inspired practices to define and maintain core business logic.
- Engage in technical and product discussions, offering and receiving constructive feedback.
- Monitor & Iterate on the success of delivered features, using feedback and data to guide improvements.

What You Bring
We’re looking for solid foundations and a willingness to learn. If you have most of the following, we’d love to talk:
- Team Mindset: Experience collaborating in multidisciplinary teams, offering both technical and product-related insights.
- SPA Experience: Some hands-on experience building Single Page Applications (SPAs) using React (functional hooks).
- Backend Skills: Comfortable creating RESTful services in Node.js with Express.
- TypeScript Familiarity: Confidence (or a strong willingness to learn) in strongly-typed environments, including designing and discussing abstractions.
- UI Proficiency: Ability to work with CSS to craft engaging user interfaces (Tailwind experience is a plus).
- Toolchain Knowledge: Proficiency with Git and NPM (or similar package managers).
- Database Experience: Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
- Architecture Principles: An understanding of (or eagerness to learn) SOLID, DDD, or other clean architecture principles.
- Growth Mindset: Proactive, eager to learn, and ready to make an impact in a remote environment that values your development as a professional and a person.
