Job Description

A. Accounting and Financial Closing
- Supervise the complete accounting cycle: registration of transactions, bank reconciliations and monthly closing with a maximum cycle of 5 business days.
-Guarantee the integrity and consistency of accounting records for all group entities under your responsibility.
-Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements under IFRS.
-Coordinate the annual external audit process with an independent audit firm.
-Supervise the management and balance of auxiliaries: accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventories and fixed assets.


B. Management Control and Reporting
-Prepare and present financial reports to the General Management: budget vs. variance analysis. real, profitability by business unit and monitoring of key indicators.
-Prepare and monitor the annual budget in coordination with the operational areas.
-Consolidate the group's financial information for comprehensive analysis.

C. Treasury and Cash Flow
-Manage corporate treasury: weekly cash flow, rolling 13 weeks and real flow.
-Supervise the planning and execution of payments to suppliers and weekly payrolls.
-Coordinate relationships with banking entities: opening accounts, international transfers and justifications of funds.

D. Fiscal and Tax Compliance
-Manage comprehensive tax compliance of all entities: VAT (D-104), Income (D-101), withholdings (D-103), information returns (D-151, D-152, D-270).
-Prepare and present the transfer pricing information declaration (I-PT) to the DGT.
-Manage partial payments of income tax (D-110) within the established deadlines.
-Keep the supporting documentation for inspection processes and transfer pricing studies updated.
-Coordinate with external tax advisors (Grant Thornton and others) for regulatory compliance.

E. Accounting Team Management
-Supervise, guide and evaluate the performance of the accounting team in charge.
-Assign and prioritize tasks according to closing needs and the fiscal calendar.
-Participate in recruitment, selection and onboarding processes of area personnel.
-Promote the technical development of the team through training and knowledge transfer.

F. Technology and Digital Transformation
-Manage and supervise the use of SAP Business One ERP as a central accounting system.
-Implement improvements and automations in accounting processes with the support of digital tools and artificial intelligence.
