Seeking an Engineering Manager to manage the Infrastructure Platform team, responsible for building and operating the critical cloud infrastructure that drives engineering velocity across the organization.
The role aims to ensure that product teams can reliably provision, deploy and operate systems at scale, meeting security and regulatory compliance requirements. Strategy for internal infrastructure platforms will be defined and executed, enabling rapid iteration without compromising reliability or control.
Responsibilities:
Deliver a scalable internal infrastructure platform in public cloud environments that enables engineering teams to provision and operate systems efficiently.
Establish and develop Kubernetes-based platform capabilities to support high-availability, large-scale production workloads.
Maintain an availability target across all infrastructure systems critical to product delivery.
Streamline the process from idea to production by improving sourcing workflows and reducing operational friction.
Ensure infrastructure systems meet SOC2 Type 2 and ISO 27001 compliance requirements through robust provisioning and access control standards.
Build a secure and reliable foundation that supports CI CD pipelines and minimizes operational risk across engineering teams.
Requirements:
Experience building and operating internal infrastructure platforms in AWS, GCP, or Azure public cloud environments, including provisioning, scaling, and reliability engineering.
3+ years experience managing engineering or infrastructure teams, including recruiting, development, and retention.
Master Kubernetes at scale, including building or managing an internal K8s-based platform from scratch.
Experience in startup environments, managing ambiguity while developing critical systems with small teams.
Preferred requirements:
Experience supporting SOC2 Type 2 and ISO 27001 compliance, especially in infrastructure provisioning and access control.
Knowledge of CI CD ecosystems and the infrastructure layers that support them, including executors, management, and cloud networks.
Knowledge of security practices in software delivery, including secure artifact management and compliance considerations.
Knowledge of blockchain technologies, decentralized applications or Web3 infrastructure.
Experience working with globally distributed engineering teams and in remote work environments.
Knowledge of infrastructure automation approaches using tools based on Go or GitHub Actions.
