Summary:
Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday with flexible hours
Location:
Must reside in one of the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Wisconsin
Responsibilities:
Provide training, education, and mentoring to the inpatient coding team and CDI staff for coding education
Deliver training both in-person and virtually
Collaborate with business owners to define, plan, implement, and evaluate required training
Ensure smooth change management for coding operations, revenue cycle, and affected areas
Evaluate and deliver comprehensive training and education programs based on end-users' needs
Provide onsite and/or virtual support to trainees and act as a knowledge resource for all staff
Perform coding quality chart reviews, ensuring compliance with government, regulatory, and coding guidelines/standards
Deliver results of chart reviews through reports for informed business decisions
Requirements:
Experience in providing training and education in a healthcare coding environment
Ability to deliver training both in-person and virtually
Strong understanding of coding guidelines and standards
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
