Job Description
We are looking for an Android platform engineer to be in charge of the architecture, evolution and quality of a complex mobile application in production. The selected person will be responsible for defining technical standards and improving system reliability.
Responsibilities:
Define Android application architecture, modular boundaries and engineering patterns to ensure performance, scalability and maintainability.
Develop solutions in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, coroutines and modern Android architecture to solve complex product and platform problems.
Improve the reliability of the mobile system through testing practices, automation, observability and deployment processes.
Design and maintain contracts between mobile, backend and iOS systems, including APIs, authentication, sessions and performance.
Participate in high-level technical decisions that impact product experience and system quality.
Lead and mentor other engineers, raising technical standards and good practices.
Contribute to the improvement of engineering processes, code review and delivery quality.
Requirements:
Experience in Android architecture, modular design, performance, security and systems in production.
Mastery of Kotlin, Jetpack Compose and modern asynchronous programming.
Experience designing complex mobile systems with backend integration and consideration of iOS platforms.
Knowledge of authentication, sessions, APIs and behavior of distributed systems.
Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, observability and reliability practices in production.
Experience leading technical initiatives and defining engineering standards.
Experience in technical mentoring of engineering teams.
Good product judgment and ability to communicate technical decisions clearly and aligned with the business.
