Android engineer wanted to develop a streaming platform on Android TV devices, focused on performance, scalability and user experience for a product used on a large scale in international markets.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain the Android application for Telia Play, with a focus on Android TV.
Improve application performance, scalability, and release processes.
Collaborate with design and backend to implement product functionalities.
Apply modern architecture patterns and code quality standards.
Develop user experiences focused on quality and usability.
Work with technologies such as Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Firebase and GraphQL.
Requirements:
Experience in developing large-scale Android TV applications.
Mastery of Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
Knowledge of software architecture and performance optimization.
Experience with GraphQL.
Knowledge of Git workflows and good code quality practices.
Ability to work as a team in collaborative environments.
Valuable:
Experience with streaming protocols such as DASH or HLS.
Experience in automating delivery processes.
Knowledge of specific Android TV functions such as remote control or voice control.
Experience with accessibility on Android such as TalkBack.

Salary to receive
€4,300 - €6,500 / month
