Job Description
Senior Android engineering profile is sought to be in charge of the development and evolution of a complex application in a high-performance environment within the hotel sector, with a focus on stability, scalability and technological modernization.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of critical functionalities for hotel operations such as ordering, table management and menus.
Drive the evolution of Android applications towards modern architectures with Kotlin, MVI or MVVM and Jetpack Compose.
Refactor legacy code into cleaner, modular and maintainable modules.
Solve complex problems related to offline synchronization, memory and integration with hardware such as printers or payment terminals.
Ensure stability in intensive use environments and demanding conditions.
Design monitoring systems for device fleets and performance analysis.
Collaborate with backend and product teams in planning mobile solutions.
Optimize application performance in loading times, response and resource consumption.
Lead code reviews in Android environments.
Evaluate and apply technological improvements in mobile development and artificial intelligence.
Requirements:
More than 8 years of experience in Android development.
Experience managing large and complex code bases.
High autonomy and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Experience in progressive refactoring of large-scale systems.
Experience in software for critical systems or high-demand environments.
Proficient in Kotlin and knowledge of Java.
Experience in designing testing and automation strategies.
Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana or Datadog.
Experience with artificial intelligence tools applied to development.
Knowledge of integrating AI functionalities in mobile applications.
Experience in automation systems or development agents is valuable.
High level of English.
