Job Description
The position seeks a Backend Engineer to lead the development of small issues and projects, actively participate in product work and contribute to the improvement of the platform. The selected person will have a key position in software construction, maintenance and optimization.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development of small incidents and projects.
Actively participate in the team's product work: suggest ideas, communicate with stakeholders and empathize with customers. Use technical knowledge to propose product improvements.
Provide feedback on code reviews within the team.
Contribute to the shared code base.
Debug and resolve problems that may arise in projects
Participate in activities outside the team, such as support rotations, hiring processes, RFC discussions, among others.
Suggest and implement small and medium improvements to the platform.
Design and implement APIs with a focus on performance, scalability and maintainability.
Requirements:
Significant experience as a Backend Engineer working with Elixir, including building, delivering and maintaining complex software projects.
Knowledge of Postgres or similar systems.
Experience in CI/CD with GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins or equivalent tools.

Salary to receive
$41,000 - $93,000 / year
