The technology team is looking for a Backend Engineer with experience in Python and data systems to develop scalable services that support AI-powered features. The position requires working with modern architectures, API integration and cloud data storage solutions.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services using Python.
Build and optimize data pipelines and ETL workflows.
Design and implement REST APIs and the integration of internal services.
Integrate and work with artificial intelligence systems and language model APIs (LLM).
Develop, test and optimize artificial intelligence prompts.
Create backend services that support AI-powered features.
Design and manage SQL-based data storage solutions.
Work with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
Use cloud-native services such as Cloud Run, Cloud Tasks, Pub/Sub, and BigQuery.
Ensure the performance, reliability and scalability of backend systems.
Implement monitoring, recording and observability practices.
Collaborate with product, frontend and artificial intelligence teams to deliver intelligent functionalities.
Participate in system architecture discussions and long-term technical planning.
Requirements:
More than 5 years of experience as a Backend or Data Engineer.
Practical experience in Python.
Experience designing REST APIs.
Experience working with AI systems and language model APIs (LLM).
Practical experience in Prompt Engineering.
Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL or similar).
Experience with BigQuery or large-scale analytical databases.
Experience working with GCP.
Knowledge of distributed systems and scalable architectures.
Experience designing data models and optimizing queries.
Ability to work independently and oriented to execution.
Analytical and detail-oriented profile.
Clear communication skills.
Organization and structure in task management.
