Looking for a backend engineer with experience in distributed systems and blockchain to be part of the development team of a global exchange platform. The selected person will work on the creation and maintenance of services that manage funds and enable the efficient operation of on-chain wallets, ensuring regulatory compliance and availability for clients around the world.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement high-performance, low-latency services and libraries in Rust and TypeScript.
Manage on-chain wallets on different blockchains, from derivation to ownership, on a global scale.
Develop and maintain systems that ensure liquidity for clients while complying with regulatory requirements.
Take charge of the central services that allow the platform to have visibility of the on-chain state.
Integrate solutions with third-party providers to efficiently move funds between chains.
Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver quality treasury management tools.
Contribute to internal tools, documentation and standards that improve processes throughout the organization.
Requirements:
5+ years of backend engineering experience.
Rust Mastery.
Experience in high volume distributed systems.
Knowledge of API design and gRPC.
Experience with Kafka or similar event streaming platforms.
Experience with DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
Hands-on experience in multiple blockchain ecosystems.
Experience working with or contributing to open source blockchain clients.
Knowledge of relational databases, logging and monitoring systems, and cloud infrastructure providers.
Interest in the security, reliability and performance of systems.
Ability to write clean code, clear documentation, and meaningful testing.
