Job Description
He is looking for an experienced backend engineer to develop and maintain protocol adapters and position mapping logic in the blockchain and DeFi space. The role involves designing systems to run calculations on smart contracts and ensure the quality, performance and resilience of on-chain data.
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain protocol adapters and position mapping logic (lending, staking, LPs, vaults and other protocol-specific position types).
Design services that execute calculations on smart contracts.
Optimize RPC requests and operations in smart contracts.
Design and implement on-chain data components to obtain information in the blockchain.
Debug and resolve production issues related to RPC/vendors and data correction.
Improve observability: registration of logs, metrics, alerts and runbooks for the components in charge.
Requirements:
More than 5 years of experience in backend engineering, including production responsibility.
More than 2 years of experience in blockchain.
Understanding of blockchain data and DeFi position mechanics or ability to learn quickly and deliver securely.
Knowledge of smart contracts (reading Solidity, understanding on-chain/event storage, debugging interactions with contracts).
Experience designing robust systems in the face of imperfect data sources and vendor instability.
Clear communication and strong sense of responsibility.
