Job Description
The selected person will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining scalable backend services, as well as creating high-performance APIs for web and mobile applications, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a deployment environment.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, supervise and maintain the platform's backend services.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
Write clean, scalable, high-quality code, prioritizing performance and maintainability.
Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and consistency of development.
Contribute to architectural decisions and the technical evolution of the platform.
Collaborate with engineering teams, product and external vendors to integrate third-party solutions and services.
Implement new functionalities and improvements in an integration and deployment environment.
Stay up to date on new backend development technologies, tools and best practices.
Requirements:
More than 5 years of experience in backend development.
Proficient in Python, or experience in another backend language with a willingness to work with Python.
Experience in developing and maintaining RESTful APIs.
Knowledge of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL or similar.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Microsoft Azure.
Knowledge of computing, data structures and software development.
Experience working in agile, fast-paced environments.
Communication and teamwork skills.
