Seeking a Senior Backend Engineer capable of quickly learning the product, business, and technology. The person will independently manage and execute functions, developing APIs that other engineers can use to solve customer problems, as well as ensuring systems are efficient, scalable and reliable.
Responsibilities:
Develop APIs and backend systems that other engineers can use to solve customer problems.
Ensure internal capabilities, infrastructure and core systems continue to meet customer and team needs.
Collaborate with application and front-end engineers on complex projects.
Design simple and elegant solutions based on customer problems.
Consider observability, SLA and scalability in systems.
Autonomously manage time, priorities and project development.
Requirements:
More than 6 years of experience in backend development.
Ability to operate independently, seeking support when necessary.
Enthusiasm and dedication to the job, with a willingness to lead important projects.
Good judgment in selecting stable tools and technologies.
Experience with AWS, Postgres and Node.js.
