You will be part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for designing, implementing and optimizing cloud infrastructures that support critical applications and variable loads.
Typical project: migration to multi-cloud environments, automation of deployments, implementation of serverless and containerized architectures, and establishment of DevOps/DevSecOps processes. You will participate in defining security, monitoring, costs and performance standards, ensuring compliance and governance. As a Cloud Engineer at Andestic, your responsibilities will include:
Design, deploy and optimize cloud infrastructures (e.g. AWS, Azure or Google Cloud) for production, staging and development environments.
Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) for reproducible and scalable provisioning (Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent).
Automate CI/CD pipelines and improve DevOps, security and compliance practices.
Configure and manage monitoring, logging and alerting tools to ensure high availability and performance.
Manage cloud costs, resource optimization and capacity reservation strategies.
Work with development teams to design resilient, secure and maintainable solutions.
Participate in architectural reviews, document technical decisions, and encourage the adoption of best practices.
Contribute to cloud security by implementing identity controls, secret management and network policies.
We expect you to be able to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions and to proactively collaborate to resolve incidents and plan short- and long-term improvements.
We are looking for a Cloud Engineer with proven experience in cloud infrastructure design and implementation and a track record of delivering projects in dynamic environments. The ideal candidate should have skills in automation, scalability, security and cost management, with the ability to work autonomously and in a team. We foster a culture of continuous improvement, constant learning and clear communication between technical and business areas.
Technical and soft requirements:
Experience in at least one major cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and ability to migrate and modernize workloads.
Experience with AI C (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi) and modernized CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of cloud networks, security (IAM, policies, encryption, secrets management) and monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, etc.).
Ability to design scalable, resilient and cost-efficient solutions; focus on performance and SLA.
Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar) and experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
Results orientation, analytical thinking, and ability to communicate technical decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience in Agile development environments; ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Knowledge in:
Multi-cloud architectures and complex migrations.
Advanced security and compliance automation (DevSecOps).
Configuration and secrets management (HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, etc.).
Serverless deployments and architectures based on microservices.
Problem-solving skills in production and ability to work under pressure.
Good level of English for technical reading and communication with global teams.
