In the
Institute for Disaster Resilience (Itrend)
We are dedicated to the creation of public goods and services through collaboration and innovation informed by scientific-technological knowledge, with the aim of mitigating the impact of socio-natural disasters in the country. Our specialized team connects with various actors in society to promote sustainable and resilient development. We are currently looking for a project engineer to join the Itrend project area.

Cloud/DevOps Engineer Responsibilities
Maintain, develop and document Itrend's digital infrastructure in the environment
cloud
through continuous monitoring of its status, development and deployment of updates.
Maintain, develop and document workflows for the continuous integration and deployment of Itrend's different digital products.
Know the technological stacks used by the institute for its different developments.
Support the team through the development of digital infrastructure requirements and CI/CD flows.
Design, implement and document digital infrastructure solutions for existing products as well as new developments of the institute.
Provide support to the team in setting up development and deployment environments.
Actively participate in the different instances of collaboration with the Itrend team.

Position requirements
We are looking for a professional who demonstrates:
Great capacity and technical knowledge in the development of cloud digital infrastructure, software engineering and architecture.
Excellent communication skills and willingness to develop collaborative challenges of high technical complexity.
Proactivity and independence in the development of tasks and technical challenges.
We are looking for a professional who has:
Civil Engineer in Computer Science or University Degree in a related career (over 4 years).
Advanced English.
Experience in developing cloud infrastructure with the AWS provider (over 3 years)
Experience developing workflows in Github Actions (over 3 years)
Interest in the creation of public goods and services.
We value those who can contribute a mix of technical and soft skills, ensuring the success of our developments in a dynamic environment necessary to improve resilience in Chile.
The position allows remote work one day a week and requires in-person work the remaining four in our offices located in Providencia, Pedro de Valdivia metro.

Desirable Skills
Although not a requirement, candidates who have one or more of the following experiences/skills will be positively evaluated:
Previous experience in software development in the context of disaster resilience solutions.
Cybersecurity management skills.
Skills in data governance and/or data infrastructure development.
