Looking for a professional to design, implement and maintain scalable mobile architectures. The candidate will contribute to the evolution of applications, ensuring modularity, maintainability and performance, and collaborate with other teams to transform requirements into effective technical solutions.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable mobile architectures. Ensure the code base remains modular, testable, and maintainable as the application grows.
Collaborate with product, design and sports science teams to translate requirements into concrete technical roadmaps. Build fidelity prototypes to reduce risks in new product directions.
Optimize performance (application startup, frame rates, battery usage) and CI/CD pipelines to consistently deliver quality code.
Design tools that transform data into clear and actionable information.
Conduct code reviews, conduct technical discussions, and mentor mid-level and junior developers.
Research and test new technologies (e.g. Compose, KMP, or newly architected components) to keep the technology stack up to date.
Requirements:
Track record in developing and maintaining high-traffic Android applications from inception to publication in the Play Store.
Advanced knowledge of Kotlin and the Android SDK. Ability to work with coroutines, flow and memory management at a detailed level.
Experience defining testing strategies (unit, integration, and user interface) that ensure long-term stability without slowing down development.
Knowledge of modern architectural patterns (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture) and ability to evaluate their trade-offs.
Experience with Gradle, CI/CD automation (e.g. GitHub Actions, Bitrise), and monitoring tools (Firebase, Sentry) to track application health in production.
Ability to explain technical concepts.
Additional points:
Contribution to open source libraries or participation in the Android developer community.
Experience integrating with Firebase to extend mobile functionalities.
Interest or experience in Kotlin Multiplatform to share logic between iOS and Android.
