Looking for a Backend Engineer who works with pragmatic technical decisions with an impact on the product.
Responsibilities:
Develop, build and maintain functionality in a modern stack with microservices in Ruby and Go, a monolith in Ruby on Rails, Kubernetes, gRPC API, Kafka, ElasticSearch, PostgreSQL and MySQL databases.
Participate in product design, priorities and constraints within the product team.
Take part in architectural decisions and tool improvements of the technology stack and in the migration towards a microservices architecture.
Contribute to conversations about practices and process improvements within the Backend, internal backend engineering community.
Write automated tests and deploy to production multiple times a day in a DevOps environment.
Monitor and resolve incidents in production at both a functional and technical level.
Participate in code reviews and pair programming sessions.
Learn and share knowledge through spaces dedicated to technical exchange and mentoring.
Requirements:
Experience in at least one web backend technology and interest in continuing to learn.
Experience with Ruby and Go.
Ability to communicate with people without a technical profile, understanding their needs.
