Data Engineer (ETL & AWS) \nModality: Remote (LATAM)\nHours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am 5:00 pm\n About the role\nWe are looking for a Data Engineer with a strong focus on data, architecture and pipelines to accompany us in the reconstruction and optimization of our data architecture.\n This role is key to laying the foundations of the company's data ecosystem, ensuring quality, scalability and consistency from ingestion to consumption.\n\n It is a deeply technical role, focused on ETL/ELT, data modeling and architectural design.\n Responsibilities\nDesign, build and maintain data pipelines (ETL/ELT).\nIntegrate data from multiple sources (REST APIs, PMS, CSV files, among others).\nBuild and manage the staging layer (raw data) using SQL.\nTransform, clean and model data towards a structured layer (data mart / clean model).\nOptimize queries and performance in databases.\nWork with Redshift or other data warehouses on AWS.\nCollaborate with the BI team to ensure data is consistent, reliable and usable.\nIdentify opportunities for improvement in data architecture.\nEnsure data quality, integrity and reliability.\nTeam context\nSmall and growing team.\nData architecture currently in redefinition.\nPower BI as a consumption layer.\nClear need to separate ingestion, transformation and visualization.\nTeam distributed between Colombia and Ecuador.\nCompany in growth phase, with processes under construction.\nStrong interest in promoting collaborative work between areas.\n Mandatory technical requirements\nReal experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.\nSolid level of SQL (essential).\nExperience with databases such as SQL Server, Redshift or others.\nExperience in consuming REST APIs for data ingestion.\nExperience with Python for data processes.\nExperience working in AWS, especially in data environments.\n Expected level\nMid-level, with approximately 3 to 4 years of real experience in data roles.\n We are looking for someone with technical criteria, capable of structuring, prioritizing and making decisions.\n Soft skills (very important)\nAbility to work in environments unstructured and constantly changing.\nProactivity and autonomy.\nAnalytical thinking and solution orientation.\nGenuine interest in understanding the business, not just executing tasks.\nClear communication with non-technical profiles.\nAbility to simplify and prioritize.\n Languages\nEnglish: B2 level valuable, not exclusive.\n Used only in specific meetings with external partners.",
