Job Description
We are looking for an engineer specialized in the analysis, calculation and evaluation of industrial equipment. The position is aimed at verifying the safety, resistance and structural integrity of pressure vessels, pipes and associated components in industrial plants.
Responsibilities:
Perform analytical and numerical evaluations of strength and stability in pressure vessels, pipes and industrial components.
Review pipe classifications and load and resistance calculations according to applicable regulations.
Apply international codes and standards such as AD2000, EN 13445, EN 13480, ASME, among others.
Evaluate the suitability of materials, manufacturing processes and welding designs in accordance with technical regulations.
Use calculation and simulation tools such as ROHR2, PROBAD, Rohr2fesu and FEM software (e.g. Ansys).
Review technical reports, certifications and evaluations of materials and components.
Carry out, when appropriate, quality audits and supervision of pressure equipment manufacturing processes.
Prepare technical documentation, inspection reports, safety evaluations and expert opinions.
Requirements:
University degree in Mechanical, Civil, Process Engineering or similar.
Experience in the application of European Directive 2014/68/EU (PED).
Experience in design, calculation and verification of pressure equipment and piping systems.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, industrial materials and welding technology.
Experience in quality audits or management systems (ISO 9001 or similar, valued).
Management of technical calculation and structural simulation tools.
High level of German and English (oral and written).
Availability to travel when necessary.
