Job Description
At the company J.E.J Engineering we are looking for a Telework Permit Engineer for the Centinela project.
Purpose of the position:
Manage and coordinate the permits and authorizations required for the development of projects, ensuring compliance with current legal regulations and facilitating the timely execution of the different stages of the project.
Features:
1. Manage the obtaining, monitoring and renewal of permits and authorizations necessary for mining operations, ensuring compliance with current regulations.
2. Coordinate with regulatory bodies, authorities and internal areas to ensure the correct processing of permits.
3. Prepare and keep updated the documentation required for permitting and environmental compliance processes.
4. Identify and evaluate the impacts associated with activities and projects, proposing measures to mitigate risks and comply with legislation.
5. Support in the preparation of reports and regulatory reports for supervisory agencies.
6. Participate in audits and inspection processes related to permits and regulatory compliance.
7. Advise operational and project areas on issues related to permits and legal requirements.
8. Keep the document management system associated with permits and authorizations updated.
9. Follow safety, health, environmental and quality policies and standards, ensuring the protection of life and a job well done.
10. Identify risks in tasks and take measures to prevent incidents and accidents, acting immediately in the event of any danger.
11. Participate in the creation and updating of work procedures, ensuring the inclusion of necessary safety and quality measures.
12. Practice self-care, stop risky tasks, and maintain respect for everyone in the organization and communities.
13. Know and comply with the policies and procedures of the Integrated Management System (IMS) in all work activities.
14. Report incidents and situations, and comply with the obligation to report in accordance with the law and J.E.J. procedures.
