Platform Engineer – Telecommunications (Replacement 1 month) – Remote

Kibernum is looking for a Platform Engineer specialized in Telecommunications to temporarily join the engineering team on a 1-month replacement. The person will be responsible for deploying and maintaining new telecommunications services, ensuring their correct integration with existing platforms. Additionally, you will be able to develop scripts or small automation tools to optimize processes and reduce manual interventions, supporting operation and functional testing.

Responsibilities:

•Support the engineering team in the implementation of telecommunications platforms.
•Automate processes using scripts or platform support tools.
•Participate in technical validation and functional and operational tests.
•Document implementations and good practices.
•Ensure compliance with security, architecture and availability guidelines.

Requirements:
•Title of Civil Engineer in Computer Science, Execution Engineer in Computer Science, Computer Engineer, Computer Science Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or related careers.
•At least 1 year of experience implementing high-performance platforms or developing platform support scripts and tools.
•Desirable: experience in telecommunications, GSMA regulations, 4G/5G technologies, VoWiFi, VoLTE, SMS over IP.
•Technical skills: TCP/IP, DNS, Firewall, HTTP, virtualization, WireShark, Linux, BGP/MPLS, subnetting, Open Source implementations.
•Other skills: autonomy, good communication, ability to analyze and solve complex problems, motivation to work as a team.
