Job Description

Job Description
Looking for an engineer specialized in iOS (Swift / Obj-C) and Android (Kotlin / Java) to develop and evolve mobile instrumentation SDKs. The objective is to prioritize performance, stability and offer an experience for the developer, working on projects that directly impact the observability of applications.
Responsibilities:
Build and evolve mobile instrumentation SDKs for iOS and Android.
Design and launch SDK functionalities such as session tracking, crash reporting, sampling strategies, automatic context propagation and integrations with OpenTelemetry.
Manage projects from start to finish.
Ensure quality through automated testing, CI, documentation, and supported update paths.
Collaborate with backend, frontend, product, and solutions engineering to ensure consistent end-to-end observability flows.
Participate in the open-source community: review PRs, discuss design proposals and guide external contributions.
Mentor colleagues, participate in technical discussions, and help define the mobile observability roadmap.
Requirements:
Experience in mobile engineering in iOS (Swift / Obj-C) and/or Android (Kotlin / Java).
Experience building or maintaining mobile SDKs, platform libraries, or other platform code geared toward third-party developers.
Experience working with performance-sensitive code (startup time, memory, network efficiency) and making pragmatic decisions.
Familiarity with OpenTelemetry (instrumentation, SDKs, collectors) or experience contributing/maintaining OTel SDKs or other similar telemetry libraries.
Written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work remotely on a globally distributed team.

Salary to receive
