Application Support and Monitoring Engineer - Hybrid Headquarters Softtek


Monitor and support mission-critical applications in a production environment. The position focuses on reviewing alerts, monitoring application health, performing basic problem resolution activities, analyzing logs and supporting incident resolution, working under defined service level agreements (SLA).

Collaborate with senior engineers, application teams and business stakeholders to ensure availability and reliability of services.

Your responsibilities include:

Monitor dashboards and alerts.
Investigate and follow up on incidents.
Document findings in ServiceNow.
Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) activities.
Maintain updated operating procedures.
Help improve monitoring coverage and alert quality.

Activities:
Transform functional and non-functional product requirements into software components (source code) that comply with specifications, architectural guidelines, and coding standards. This includes understanding the specifications and requirements; design, code and unit test software components; automate unit testing; comment and document the code according to established standards; apply software configuration management (SCM) protocols and integrate components into the software product; as well as correct code defects identified during testing and/or unlocking activities.
