We are looking for a Streaming Video Engineer to join the Technology team and develop high-performance streaming solutions for global audiences. The selected person will participate in the design, development and optimization of video transmission infrastructures, ensuring a smooth, low latency and high availability experience through the use of advanced technologies and protocols.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop and optimize video streaming workflows using GStreamer, FFmpeg and Chromium Embedded Framework (CEF).
Implement and maintain support for multiple video codecs, formats, and streaming protocols.
Develop and deploy container-based streaming solutions using Docker.
Create high-performance, low-latency video processing modules using Rust and C++.
Integrate CEF into video compositing flows to enable advanced rendering and overlay features.
Monitor, diagnose and optimize the quality, latency and reliability of streaming systems.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver stable, high-quality video experiences to users.
Research and incorporate new technologies related to video transmission and multimedia distribution in real time.
Document transmission system architecture, processes, and best practices.
Requirements:
Demonstrable experience with GStreamer and FFmpeg for video processing and streaming.
Hands-on experience integrating Chromium Embedded Framework.
Docker domain for deploying applications in containers.
Programming knowledge in Rust and C++.
Advanced knowledge of video codecs such as H.264, HEVC, VP8, VP9, AV1 and VVC.
Experience with streaming protocols and formats such as FLV, HLS, RTMP, SRT, MPEG-TS, and MP4.
Knowledge of networks and multimedia transmission protocols in real time.
Experience optimizing streaming systems to reduce latency and improve reliability.
Salary to receive
$130,000 - $160,000 / year
