Are you a Senior DevOps Engineer with experience in complex infrastructures, hybrid environments and edge computing? We are looking for a profile with solid technical experience to work directly with the IT team of our end client.\nPosition Details\nPosition: Senior DevOps Engineer\nMode: Freelance/contractor - 100% Remote (USA time zone - East Coast)\nLanguage: Advanced / fluent English (exclusive)\nTravel: Availability to occasionally travel to client facilities as necessary\nVisa required active\nAbout the Role\nYou will be responsible for designing, automating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and robust cloud infrastructure, on-premise environments and air-gapped scenarios. You will work on high availability architectures that operate under challenging network conditions (high latency, satellite links) and that require strict security standards, orchestration in edge nodes and observability.\nTechnical Profile and Requirements\n1. Infrastructure and Automation\nCI/CD: Automation of deployments and releases in multiple environments, including air-gapped scenarios.\nIaC (Infrastructure as Code): Mastery of Terraform, Ansible or Pulumi for cloud or on-premise environments.\nContainers and Orchestration: Advanced experience in Kubernetes (cloud and edge nodes), Helm or Kustomize, and GitOps methodologies.\nAI tools: Practical use and auditable of artificial intelligence tools applied to infrastructure and operations.\n2. Offline-First Networks and Architecture\nNetworks: Solid knowledge of IP, VLANs, routing, NAT, DNS, NTP and firewall rules.\nConnectivity and Latency: Management of satellite links or high latency WAN networks.\nOffline-First Design: Architecture for intermittent connectivity, local storage (e.g. SQLite) and data conflict management/resolution.\n3. Observability and Streaming\nObservability Stack: Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Jaeger, Elastic/OpenSearch and Loki.\nKafka Operations: Broker resilience, data retention and consumer behavior.\n4. Security, Compliance and Operations\nSecurity: Implementation of mTLS, certificate life cycle, secret management and signing of container images.\nCompliance: Experience or exposure to PCI DSS and GDPR regulations.\nOperations: Participation in on-call, incident response and preparation of runbooks.\nMinimum Requirements\nMinimum 3 years of experience operating container and cloud platforms in production environments.\nExcellent skills communication to interact directly with the client's technical teams.\nProactivity and problem-solving ability in complex network and edge computing scenarios.",
