Job Description

Genesys Information Technologies. SpA is a company with more than 35 years in the market, dedicated to software manufacturing and outsourcing services, with a central operation in Concepción and an operation in Santiago. We are looking to hire a Semi Senior DevOps Engineer to strengthen our technical team and support data and development projects. The role involves collaboration with data and development teams to deliver reliable, automated and scalable infrastructure; Participation in observability, CI/CD and cloud environment modernization initiatives.

Roles and responsibilities
Support and operation of data environments (dev, test and prod).
Creation and maintenance of infrastructure for data projects (BigQuery, GCS, Composer, Dataproc, networks, among others).
Design, implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
Support in the deployment of new data projects.
Infrastructure automation using Terraform.
Management and execution of component upgrades.
Restoration and recovery of infrastructure components.
Resolution of complex incidents in repositories and infrastructure.
Contribution in POCs and evaluation of new tools and environments (e.g. CloudWatch, etc.).

Requirements and desired profile
Exclusive requirements: minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps or similar roles. Training in Computer Engineering, Systems or similar. Experience in cloud environments and good automation and observability practices. Analytical and complex problem-solving skills. Collaborative profile with data and development teams.
Experience in cloud tools and platforms, CI/CD pipelines, automation with infrastructure as code and the ability to work in a hybrid environment with multiple stakeholders will be an advantage.

Desirable competencies
Experience in cloud environments, good automation and observability practices, ability to analyze and solve complex problems, and ability to work as a team with data and development will be an advantage.
