Description:
We are looking for an engineer based in electronics, mechatronics or systems, with verifiable experience in IoT + AI projects, to lead the design, implementation and optimization of our hybrid Edge + Cloud system.
Collect data, deploy edge computing logic, ensure cybersecurity, train AI models, connect to PLC, SCADA, other systems, dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:
Integrate PLCs, SCADA systems, sensors, gateways (Raspberry Pi, Nvidia Jetson, ESP32, etc.) using Modbus TCP/RTU, OPC-UA, MQTT, Node-RED.
Design and deploy time series database (InfluxDB or TimescaleDB) and dashboards (Grafana).
Build Edge + Cloud pipelines: collect, store, process, visualize data.
Develop AI/ML models: regression, anomaly detection, RUL, optimization.
Configure DevOps infrastructure and deployment: Docker/Docker Compose, Linux (Ubuntu/Debian).
Ensure OT/IT security: network segmentation, credential management, TLS/mTLS, controlled access.
Propose new features, think “outside the box”. Ability to solve problems, iterate quickly, prioritize tasks, build innovative solutions to real challenges.

Essential Requirements:
Engineer in Electronics, Mechatronics, Systems or similar.
3 - 5 years experience in IoT or automation projects (or equivalent).
Technical domain: Node-RED, MQTT, Modbus TCP/RTU, OPC-UA, PLC integration, SCADA.
Experience in time series databases (InfluxDB/TimescaleDB) + visualization with Grafana.
Solid knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu/Debian), Docker/Docker Compose.
Experience in Python + Pandas + Scikit-learn for basic AI models.
Good level of technical English (reading and documentation).

Desirable requirements:
TensorFlow Lite or TensorRT for inference at the Edge.
Simulation (SimPy, Modelica) for process validation.
Backend/API (FastAPI/Flask or Node.js) and some frontend (React) to build dashboards or integrations.
ML models, deep learning, NLP, GenAI, reinforcement learning, etc.
Agentic RAG, AI and autonomous agents.
Experience in CI/CD, model versioning (MLOps), data pipelines.
Advanced cybersecurity: VPNs (WireGuard/Tailscale), IDS/IPS, secrets management.
