Job Description

We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to work remotely, certified or aligned with the EN 15628 standard, related to the qualifications and competencies of maintenance personnel.

The Engineer - instructor must be aimed at strengthening supervision, planning, technical coordination, reliability, safety, indicator control, work team management and decision-making skills in railway maintenance environments or critical industrial systems.

The professional must have verifiable experience in industrial, railway maintenance, mass transportation, rolling stock, railway infrastructure, critical electromechanical systems or advanced maintenance management.

A high-level profile is required with an emphasis on providing specialized training; we are not looking for basic operational personnel. The person must have the capacity to train supervisors, middle managers, technical managers or personnel responsible for coordinating field maintenance.
Mandatory requirements

The candidate must meet the following requirements:

Professional training in Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance, Railway or related technical areas with Professional Suitability.

Proven experience in supervision, management or coordination of industrial, railway, metro, guided transport, rolling stock, railway infrastructure, signaling, energy, railway workshops or critical electromechanical systems maintenance.

Demonstrable knowledge of the EN 15628 / UNE-EN 15628 standard, especially as related to skills, roles and qualifications of maintenance personnel.

Experience providing technical training to supervisors, maintenance managers, technical coordinators, middle managers or industrial maintenance teams.

Mastery of topics such as: maintenance planning and programming, preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance, work order management, maintenance indicators: MTBF, MTTR, availability, maintenance compliance, backlog and reliability, management of physical assets, safety in maintenance work, supervision of technical equipment, failure diagnosis, root cause analysis, coordination of human, technical and material resources, continuous improvement in maintenance, document management and technical reports. Ability to teach a virtual course with a practical, technical approach applicable to the railway environment. Availability to deliver or validate the thematic content, methodology, participant profile, evaluation and evidence of learning.
Highly desirable requirements
It will be especially valued if the professional has any of the following endorsements:
Formal certification related to EN 15628 / UNE-EN 15628
Certification of people under ISO/IEC 17024 scheme
Training or certification issued by organizations such as TÜV, AHK, AEM, maintenance associations or recognized entities in maintenance management.

Note: basic, operational or generic technical profiles without experience in supervision, corporate training or maintenance management will not be considered.
