AVOS Tech company with more than 30 years of experience in the Latin American market of operational and technological services is looking for a Computer Engineer or related careers for the position of FinOps Engineer
Objective
Plan, coordinate, execute and supervise cloud infrastructure projects within a complex environment, ensuring time, budget and quality objectives are met.
Requirements
1-3 years in similar positions
Analysis of cloud resource usage (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Use of tools such as Power BI, Azure Cost Management, Resource Graph, billing APIs, etc.
Automation of reports and alerts.
Identification of optimization opportunities (reservations, autoscaling, rightsizing).

Monitoring cloud consumption and reserve usage
Periodic monitoring with businesses to review deviations and/or optimization proposals
Follow-up with technical teams for resource optimization
Alert automation
Instance reservation management
Licensing purchase management via Marketplace
Periodic monitoring with PMO/Government of consumption/billing
Maintaining the current Azure consumption Dashboard (in Power BI)
Maintenance of the rest of the area's dashboard (in Power BI)
Carrying out internal assessment and presentation to businesses
Definition and documentation of the area's processes
Details
Contract type: Indefinite
Work Day: Monday to Friday 08:45 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with availability to adjust to Spanish time in case of monitoring or other reason
