The candidate will be a co-owner of the roadmap and backlog, responsible for portions of the product backlog, and will collaborate on defining and scoping the future vision of the product roadmap. You will participate in the implementation of functionalities, from the proposal, through the specification and implementation, to maintenance, contributing ideas that can improve the products. You will also be involved in code review and improving the health of the codebase, spending time managing technical debt. Additionally, you will give and receive feedback to plan and discuss work, identifying challenges and unknowns early.
Responsibilities:
Co-owner of the roadmap and backlog, collaborating in the definition and scope of the product vision.
Implementation of functionalities: proposal, specification, development and maintenance.
Code review and participation in pull requests.
Improving the health of the code base, managing technical debt.
Requirements:
More than 3 years of experience in software development as a full stack engineer.
Proficient in React and modern front-end development (hooks, state management, component architecture, performance optimization).
Experience in designing and consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs, collaborating with backend developers to define data flows and users.
Knowledge of cloud services and their optimization in costs, security and performance.
Knowledge of programming languages, preferably Typescript and Go or Python, with a willingness to learn and adopt them if not mastered.
Experience in system and application design, including reusable UI patterns and scalable architectures.
Commitment to development and learning.
Knowledge of software engineering practices.
Experience with Git/GitHub.
Communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Self-organized, goal-oriented, self-motivated, thorough and tenacious person.
Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced and constantly evolving team environments.
