Job Description

At J.E.J Engineering we are in the process of searching for a professional Planning and Cost Control Engineer, 5x2 shift, to perform their functions remotely.

Purpose of the position:
Specialist in project planning, control and cost management

Features:
1. Prepare and control the project budget, ensuring the efficient use of assigned resources.
2. Track and analyze actual versus budgeted costs, identifying deviations and proposing corrective actions.
3. Prepare periodic cost control reports and financial projections for decision making.
4. Coordinate with technical and contract areas to obtain reliable and timely information for cost management.
5. Participate in the financial planning of the project, including cash flows, valuations and forward estimates.
6. Support bidding processes and economic evaluation of proposals, ensuring consistency with established budgets.
7. Ensure that cost planning and control aligns with internal standards and good industry practices.
8. Follow safety, health, environmental and quality policies and standards, ensuring the protection of life and a job well done.
9. Identify risks in tasks and take measures to prevent incidents and accidents, acting immediately in the event of any danger.
10. Participate in the creation and updating of work procedures, ensuring the inclusion of necessary safety and quality measures.
11. Practice self-care, stop risky tasks, and maintain respect for everyone in the organization and communities.
12. Know and comply with SGI policies and procedures in all work activities.
13. Report incidents and situations, and comply with the obligation to report in accordance with the law and J procedures.
