Job Description
Consulting company specialized in functional safety for the refining, petrochemical, chemical and energy industries is looking to recruit a recent graduate or engineer with little experience to join its growing team.
Modality: teleworking during the first months, with subsequent transfer to an office within the Greater Metropolitan Area (GAM).
This position is an excellent opportunity to develop experience in international functional safety regulations (ISA/IEC), process risk analysis and safety instrumented systems, working alongside consultants with extensive experience.
Main functions:
Participate in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA/LOPA), support the development of safety requirements specifications (SRS) and SIL verification calculations, review P&IDs and cause-effect diagrams, and prepare technical documentation under the supervision of senior consultants.
Requirements:
Baccalaureate or Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Process Engineering or similar. ABET accreditation desirable, not essential.
English level B2 or higher. I
Incorporation into the College of Chemical Engineers and Related Professionals (CIQPA), or willingness to start the process.
Residing in the GAM or surrounding areas, given that the position becomes in-person after the initial period of teleworking.
It is valued:
Certification in process safety or functional safety. Familiarity with P&ID symbology.
