Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Quality Control Engineer with technical experience and a proactive and collaborative mindset. This person will be key in defining and ensuring product quality, leading automation initiatives and working closely with engineering, product and design teams.
Responsibilities:
Manage quality projects from start to finish, guaranteeing high technical standards across all teams.
Define, promote and defend quality standards and good engineering practices.
Design, develop and maintain automated tests for frontend and backend using Playwright and TypeScript.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure balanced test coverage following the testing pyramid.
Contribute to the global QA strategy, improving processes, metrics and automation maturity.
Review and define functional and non-functional test plans.
Perform manual and exploratory testing, documenting and managing defects.
Analyze test results and identify patterns and areas for improvement.
Participate in early design and planning phases to anticipate risks and improve testability.
Ensure product quality and user experience in collaboration with the product, design and engineering teams.
Proactively identify and communicate risks, dependencies, and issues.
Mentor and support other members of the QA team, promoting good practices and automation.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
7+ years of QA/quality assurance experience.
Over 3 years of automation experience with Playwright.
Knowledge of TypeScript and creation of scalable automation frameworks.
Experience with CI/CD, especially GitHub Actions.
Communication and collaboration skills between technical and product teams.
Attention to detail and quality orientation.
Experience defining automation standards in teams or multiple squads.
Experience mentoring QA profiles.
Familiarity with AI tools applied to testing and productivity.
