The role involves designing, building, and operating scalable backend services in Go that support critical payment, billing, and account systems. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring reliability, observability and clear operational ownership of core services.
Responsibilities:
Design, build and operate scalable backend services in Go.
Manage one or more core services from start to finish, ensuring high reliability and operational visibility.
Implement significant improvements to systems, increasing scalability, correctness and development efficiency.
Strengthen the health of services by reducing operational risks, technical debt and frequency of incidents.
Participate in design and code reviews.
Ensure backend services are securely and efficiently integrated with smart contracts and on-chain systems.
Requirements:
Experience designing, building and operating scalable backend services, with proficiency in Go.
Understanding smart contracts and blockchain fundamentals.
Experience in the design and evolution of complex microservices architectures.
Experience building and operating production systems with operational excellence.
Ability to take ownership of services throughout their entire life cycle.
Written and verbal communication skills.
Fundamentals in software engineering.
