Job Description
We are looking for an Android development engineer to be in charge of delivering new features that impact millions of users. The candidate will work with Product Managers, UX Designers, QA and other members of the development team, ensuring quality and scalability in the application.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the delivery of new features collaborating with Product Managers, UX Designers, QA and other members of the development team.
Write maintainable and well-tested code, developing functionality from start to finish.
Contribute to improving the architecture and code quality of the application.
Restructure legacy code to prepare the product for future scalability.
Mentor less experienced engineers, modeling high quality standards and improving processes at the team level.
Collect, analyze and monitor data.
Requirements:
Hands-on experience in Android application development with understanding of fundamentals (Java/Kotlin, Android Views/Jetpack Compose) and core APIs.
Engineering and programming skills. Understanding of basic data structures and asynchronous programming.
Experience working in fast-paced, agile environments.
Product-focused mentality, committed to delivering value to users.
Oral and written communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate efficiently with key stakeholders.
Hands-on experience with cryptography solutions and understanding of good security practices.
