The candidate will join the software development team to design, implement, review and test frameworks, libraries, tools and services, primarily using Go. You will be an integral part of a team, participating in meetings, design, planning and retrospectives.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, review and test frameworks, libraries, tools and services using Go.
Contribute to sprints by implementing tasks that contribute to the team's objectives.
Act as a reference and promoter within the company.
Maintain Mirantis projects by managing contributions and patches to open source projects, reviewing submissions, and participating in design decisions.
Participate in product discussions, influence the roadmap and take responsibility for new projects.
Contribute to product quality through test automation and review of test plans, avoiding errors and regressions.
Ensure MSR remains an indispensable component in customer solutions, working integrated with existing systems, including orchestrators and industry-standard components.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science.
Experience in debugging, especially in multi-process and orchestrated systems.
Knowledge of creating and using containers and Kubernetes.
5+ years of development experience in Linux or another Unix-like environment.
3+ years of experience with the Go programming language or another modern language for applications in production.
Certifications such as CKA, CKAD or DCA.
Experience with other languages: Shell scripting, Python (preferred).
Experience with container registries (Harbor/MSR), OCI specifications, Docker and/or Swarm (preferred).
