Role objective\nConfigure, develop and integrate the telephony layer of the Asterisk-based voice platform, implementing call orchestration components and their integration with backend services and artificial intelligence platforms.\nThe role combines knowledge of VoIP, backend development and voice platforms, allowing to implement integrations between Asterisk, Voice Gateway, microservices and AI services to enable automated voice conversations and transfer to human agents.\n\nMain responsibilities\n* Configuration and administration of Asterisk as the telephony layer of the platform.\n* Management of telephony components:\n- SIP trunks\n- IVR\n- service queues\n- call recording\n- transfers to human agents.\n* Development and integration between Asterisk and backend through ARI / APIs / streaming.\n* Implementation of integration components such as:\n- Voice Gateway\n- Identity Webhook\n- Handoff Microservice.\n* Integration with voice and artificial intelligence services:\n- ASR (Speech to Text)\n- TTS (Text to Speech)\n- LLM / conversational agents.\n* Diagnosis and resolution of voice quality problems:\n- latency\n- jitter\n- packet loss\n- echo.\n* Implementation of VoIP security mechanisms:\n- SIP access control\n- fail2ban\n- NAT\n- TLS / SRTP (desirable).\n* Development and consumption of APIs for integration with business systems or customer service platforms.\n* Technical support and operation of the voice platform in productive environments.\n\nTechnical requirements\n- Telephony / VoIP\n* Asterisk\n* SIP / RTP\n* Audio codecs (G.711, G.729, Opus)\n* Configuration IVR\n* Call queue management\n* VoIP Networking\n* Linux\n- Integration and development\n* REST APIs\n* WebSockets / streaming\n* Integration through ARI (Asterisk REST Interface)\n* Backend development in one of the following languages:\n* Node.js\n* Python\n* Java\n* Go\n* Ruby\n- Voice and AI platforms\n* ASR / Speech to Text\n* TTS / Text to Speech\n* Integration with artificial intelligence platforms (LLM) desirable.\n- Diagnostic tools\n*Asterisk CLI\n*sngrep / tcpdump / Wireshark (desirable)\n\nSoft requirements\n* High capacity for technical diagnosis.\n* Analytical thinking for incident resolution.\n* Ability to work in integration environments between multiple systems.\n* Clear technical documentation of configurations and voice streams.",
