IBM Informix Software Development Engineer - Semi Senior / Senior

At C&S we are looking for candidates to fill the position of IBM Informix Software Development Engineer.
Work modality
Hybrid scheme: 1 time per fortnight in person in offices, CABA.
If you are in another province: 100% remote.
Hours: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. (GMT-3 / Argentina time).
Task description
Design, develop and maintain solutions based on IBM Informix.
Optimize the performance of databases and SQL queries.
Manage data structures, indexes, stored procedures and triggers.
Collaborate with development, infrastructure and data analysis teams.
Participate in continuous improvement and system migration processes.
Document developments and collaborate on data architecture design.
What are we looking for in a candidate?
Academic training: Professional or advanced student in Systems Engineering, Computer Science or related careers.
Analytical profile, with autonomy and ability to solve complex problems in demanding technical environments.
Good management of Linux/Unix environments and collaborative work.
Essential skills
More than 5 years of development experience with IBM Informix.
Solid knowledge of SQL, Stored Procedures, triggers and Informix functions.
Experience in database modeling and performance optimization.
Knowledge of administration tools such as dbaccess, onstat, oncheck, among others.
Ability to work on complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
Desirable skills
Experience in integrating Informix with other technologies (ETL, APIs).
Knowledge of Python, Java or Shell Scripting.
Experience in financial or highly critical environments.
Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
