At C&S we are looking for candidates for the position of AI Engineer - Senior.
Work modality
100% remote
Hours: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (GMT-3 / Argentina time).
Task description
Design, develop and implement Artificial Intelligence solutions ensuring their correct integration into productive, scalable and secure applications.
Participate in the entire life cycle of solutions: problem identification, experimentation with models, evaluation and subsequent implementation in productive environments.
Train, evaluate and optimize NLP and Computer Vision models applied to specific business cases.
Develop robust software components (APIs, microservices, modules) that integrate AI models with existing systems, applying good engineering, testing and documentation practices.
Implement and deploy container solutions (Docker) on platforms such as OpenShift (OCP) or AWS, guaranteeing scalability, security and observability.
Collaborate closely with Architecture and MLOps teams to ensure the traceability, maintainability and performance of AI solutions.
Contribute to the definition of standards, internal frameworks and reusable components that facilitate the industrialization of AI solutions.
Work in multidisciplinary teams, under agile methodologies, interacting with different technical and business areas.
What are we looking for?
Training in Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or related careers (graduate or advanced student).
Profile with a strong base in software engineering and AI applied in productive environments.
Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions based on AI models and modern architectures.
Essential skills
Advanced and verifiable experience in:
+4 years of experience combining applied AI and software development in productive environments.
Mastery of Python and its main Machine Learning / Deep Learning libraries:
scikit-learn
TensorFlow
PyTorch
Hugging Face
LangChain (or other similar frameworks for LLMs).
Experience in training, validation and evaluation of models for:
Classification problems
Natural Language Processing (NLP)
Computer Vision (CV).
Working knowledge in foundational models/LLMs:
Consumption via API
Fine-tuning
Embeddings
Vector stores
Orchestration with LangChain-type frameworks.
Experience in developing services with frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask or similar, applying:
Modular design
Good testing practices (pytest, unittest)
Logging and error handling
API documentation.
Ability to integrate AI models within applications or microservices, exposing them as secure and scalable APIs.
Familiarity with Docker and deployment of containerized applications.
Familiarity with CI/CD, code versioning (GitLab, GitHub) and automated deployment of pipelines and applications.
Knowledge of software architecture, design patterns and SOLID principles applied to AI solutions.
Experience working with agile methodologies and in multidisciplinary teams.
Desirable skills
Experience with generative AI services in Bedrock (AWS) and/or Azure AI / Fabric.
Previous experience working in highly technologically demanding environments (banking, fintech, large corporations).
Knowledge and additional practice in MLOps (model monitoring, retraining, experiment tracking, etc.).
Participation in the definition of internal frameworks or reusable AI libraries.
