It is the largest transactional e-commerce site in Chile
. There, public services make their purchases through almost 2 million purchase orders a year, for more than 16 billion dollars, allowing business opportunities for more than 120 thousand suppliers.
Therefore, our service is critical for the functioning of the State of Chile.
Currently, we are promoting a strategy of
modernization to generate greater efficiency in purchases and public spending
, through the renewal of platforms and services such as the framework agreement store in Magento and new systems that facilitate decision making, monitoring and evaluation of purchasing processes. This transformation includes the move from a traditional architecture based on a physical data center and monolithic systems, towards a multi-cloud software architecture, with both physical and cloud backups.

The role focuses on
design and implement technical solutions that ensure the correct operation and continuity of the products of the public procurement platform, mainly solving the needs of infrastructure, monitoring and support in the field of cybersecurity, acting in coherence with the guidelines, standards and institutional values.
To do this you must:
Lead the technical vision of infrastructure and implement it together with the work teams.
Identify the infrastructure available in the organization and make it known to the project team, promoting compliance with the policies and standards associated with infrastructure and technological equipment.
Propose the most appropriate configuration to resolve each need and/or request external advice as appropriate.
Ensure the evolution of the infrastructure in accordance with the strategic guidelines of the institution.
Ensure the operational continuity of the technology used in the development and operation of the products.
Advise, create and proactively implement solutions in the projects in which you participate.
Define and declare the minimum elements and/or requirements to move products into production.
Automate development and release processes between environments to make them more efficient.
Propose and implement tools that allow standards to be validated and product quality certified.
Support developers in implementing product functionality as appropriate.
Advise, and support the creation and proactive implementation of solutions and/or improvements for the technological tools and equipment available in the institution.
Ensure the existence of monitoring and alarm tools that support the operation of the products.
Manage the tasks associated with the DRP in coordination with the information security and cybersecurity area.
Professional title obtained from a career of at least 8 semesters in the field of Computer Engineering or related career, from an institution recognized by the State of Chile.
Required work experience:
At least 2 years participating in software development teams under agile methodologies in public or private organizations.
Desirable work experience:
Experience in DevOps Engineer roles in public or private organizations.
Minimum knowledge:
- Administration of Windows Server, Linux Server platforms
- Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure Services
- Experience with CI/CD and/or IaaC tools
- GIT repository management
- SQL and NOSQL databases
Desirable knowledge:
- Automated testing
- Observability tools
- Back end programming languages, such as Java, Spring boot
- .NET programming language (C#, VB.NET)
- Intermediate English Language (B1 CEFR)
The contracting method is
hires with annual renewal, according to performance evaluation.

, and we have a flexible income band,
from 07:30 a.m. to 09:30 a.m.
The position has a
gross monthly income grade 14 EFS, corresponding to $2,509,809.
Bonuses can be paid quarterly (in the months of March, June, September and December) subject to compliance with institutional goals, increasing the gross income in said months to $3,065,475.
Therefore, the gross monthly income (average) corresponds to $2,695,031.
