Job Description

At Agilesoft SpA, we are an IT consultancy specialized in software development and technological services. We are looking to add a QA Automation Engineer to our team to collaborate on challenging projects in Chile and the Dominican Republic. The candidate will join a dynamic team, oriented to quality and the delivery of high-value solutions for our clients, applying automation practices, functional and non-functional tests within agile environments.

Main functions
Design and execute functional tests (Smoke, Regression, UAT) aimed at software quality
Automate web tests and APIs to reduce cycle times
Validate REST and SOAP services; ensure reliable integrations
Prepare test data (SQL, QA/UAT) and manage test environments
Run performance and load tests; identify bottlenecks
Develop testing plans and strategies; define test cases and manage defects
Define and monitor quality metrics to improve processes

Requirements and profile sought
We are looking for professionals with at least 3 years of experience in QA, with a focus on automation and quality assurance in agile environments.
ISTQB Certification
Experience in web automation and APIs
Knowledge of REST / SOAP validation
Using SQL for data preparation
Experience in functional and non-functional testing.
Knowledge of automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Postman/Newman)
Knowledge of performance and load testing.
