Position Overview:
As an IT Manager, you will lead the strategy, design, and governance of Polaris's SAP SD and Vistex solutions, ensuring they effectively support Order-to-Cash, pricing, rebates, and commercial operations. In this role, you will guide configuration decisions, influence enterprise architecture, and serve as the primary escalation point for functional and integration topics. You will work closely with Sales, Finance, Pricing, and Commercial teams as well as external partners to deliver solutions that meet real business needs. You will also build internal capability through coaching, documentation, and structured knowledge transfer. This is a compelling opportunity to shape a critical enterprise platform and directly influence how Polaris delivers commercial value through SAP S/4HANA.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and own the SAP SD and Vistex strategy, configuration standards, and supporting processes for Order to Cash, pricing, rebates, and promotions.
Lead Fit-to-Standard workshops, validate configuration decisions, and ensure alignment with business processes, compliance requirements, and SAP best practices.
Own and approve SAP SD and Vistex configuration decisions, providing leadership across sales order management, pricing, Vistex rebates and incentives, promotions, billing, and integration to Finance.
Ensure strong integration across related SAP modules and alignment with enterprise architecture standards while avoiding core modifications.
Serve as the primary escalation point for SAP SD and Vistex functional and configuration issues.
Mentor internal SAP configuration resources and promote clean core principles and disciplined change control.
Coordinate with external partners to document, review, and align configuration decisions.
Ensure complete, accurate, and business-ready process and configuration documentation.
Conduct training and coaching for IT and business users across SAP SD, Vistex, and SAP Fiori capabilities.
Establish governance, change control, authorization, and audit readiness processes for SAP SD and Vistex solutions.
Gather and synthesize requirements, manage stakeholder expectations, and partner with commercial functions to ensure solutions deliver measurable business value.

Qualifications:
BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP SD configuration and implementation.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role managing SAP programs, projects, or functional teams.
Expertise in SAP Order to Cash processes, including pricing, billing, and integration to Finance.
Hands-on experience with Vistex, including rebates, incentives, chargebacks, and promotions.
Experience delivering large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformations.
Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders.
Experience with SAP Activate methodology, Fit-to-Standard workshops, and clean core principles.
Experience with agile delivery models is a plus.
Travel up to 10%.
This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
The starting pay range for Minnesota is $142,000 to $176,000 per year. Individual salaries and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. While individual pay could fall anywhere in the range based on these factors, it is not common to start at the high end or top of the range.
